Teams Set-up
For the best experience with the Teams platform, we recommend that participants join the meeting through the Teams Desktop App and ensure all other programs are closed for the duration of the meeting to avoid distractions and interruptions. Please be particularly aware that incoming Skype calls while on a Teams meeting have been known to disrupt audio/video connections.
If you do not have the Teams Desktop App, you may download it directly from the Microsoft Canada website at https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app. As a backup plan, you may want to download the Teams Mobile App on your mobile device. We recommend becoming comfortable with your audio and video settings before joining the meeting.
