If You Are Selected

At this stage, you have been summoned to attend jury selection and have gone through the jury selection process.

If you have been selected as one of the jurors for the trial, you will be:

sworn in or affirmed and then seated in the jury box; and
told how long the trial is expected to last and the date it will start (criminal trials usually last between five to 10 days, but can be longer);
given the rules and regulations of the court for the trial.
