Personal safety is a top priority for most people. Here are some tips you can use to keep you, your family and community safe.

  • Do not give anyone your personal information on the telephone over the Internet or by e-mail.
  • Keep a light on outside your house and close your blinds or curtains after dark.
  • Ensure you keep doors locked.
  • Walk in well lit areas.
  • Keep your car doors locked, even while driving.

You can help keep your community safe by reporting suspicious and criminal activity to police. Be aware of the different types of crime that may be affecting your community. Be sure to inform yourself so you can take steps to protect yourself and your family.
